The Devil’s Rejects formed in 2007 – originally called ‘Bus Tours from Hell’ and playing their own brand of folk influenced punk, the bands’ sound has evolved over time, with line-up changes and new influences and styles adding to the already eclectic world view and musical mash-up envisioned by front man Matt Williams.

‘Every song has a story and each one needs a tune to tell it…’

We’ve all heard about it but really, it’s true, isn’t it?  They’re all mad…

Chris: Rhythm guitarist and principal arranger – who never accepts anything less than 100% and is committed to an elusive and paradoxical ‘controlled chaos’ he believes makes a great band.

Matt: Founder, singer, lead guitarist and prodigious lyricist and songwriter, a committed musician and born front man.

Olie: Drummer - hard-hitting driver of the band, a metal-head who saw the light and became the 13th drummer to take the throne in five years. He smiles a lot, and sings like an angel if there’s a monitor - or like an X-Factor contestant if there isn’t.

‘A lot of people think that punk rock musicians don't know what they're doing’ - Travis Barker

Make all the tunes you like, it don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing…

Briony: Accordion and keyboard player, with a terrific ear for melody and the skills to match it - and a great backing vocalist.

Rick: Bass guitarist – every band needs an engine-room if it’s going to be any good, and as 50% of that particular equation Rick is as solid, and as inventive, as they come.

Unfortunately the band no longer exists. Our final gig was at the Wessex Folk Festival in Weymouth on 1st June 2014.

Please see the band news for where we are now but here I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all those below (plus Toby and Simon) for the fabulous effort they put in over the last few years which has contributed to some amazing music and knock-out performances!
